Theory training\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e·\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Duration: 6 hours 30 minutes, either in one day (Saturday or Monday) or over two consecutive weekday evening classes.\u003cbr\u003e·\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Content: everything you need to know to navigate safely up to \u003cb\u003e6 nautical miles from a place of shelter\u003c\/b\u003e (approximately 11 km from the coast): navigation markers, right-of-way rules at sea, vessel lights and shapes, weather, tides, reading nautical charts, VHF radio, the responsibilities of the skipper, and more.\u003cbr\u003e·\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Final exam: \u003cb\u003e40 multiple-choice questions\u003c\/b\u003e on a tablet (similar to the driving theory test).
