This sun pendant with its central feline face belongs to a long Dior jewellery tradition — that of narrative and symbolic pieces which do more than adorn: they tell a story. The sun, a universal symbol of light and majesty, paired with a sculpted feline face — lion, panther or mystical cat — evokes both the royal grandeur of the Sun King and the wild grace of the big cats that fascinated Christian Dior himself. The pendant’s sun rays, adorned with clear rhinestones set at regular intervals, create a radiant light effect that intensifies with movement. Its adjustable length from 37.5 to 43 cm makes it perfectly versatile: worn as a choker on a bare neck, as a mid-length necklace over a neckline, or layered with other fine chains for a contemporary layering effect.
