Fendi launched its watches in the late 1980s, drawing on Swiss movements. The Roman house applies the same logic as it does to its bags: the logo is not placed on the object; it becomes its structure. On this watch, the two interlocking Fs are not engraved or printed — they are cut into the bracelet's central links, which alternate with solid links. The symbol holds the chain together.
The ensemble plays on a beautiful two-tone effect. Steel and gold-tone elements alternate on the bracelet as well as at the ends of the case, giving the piece rare versatility: it pairs with both silver and gold jewellery without ever clashing. The rectangular case, approximately 15 mm wide, frames a mother-of-pearl shell dial — a living material whose reflections shift according to the light and wrist angle — punctuated by gold-tone Roman numerals and the Fendi signature, with the Swiss Made inscription at the bottom.
One technical detail is worth noting: the dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, the hardest material used in watchmaking after diamond. This explains why it has remained so clear over the years — while the steel case has acquired the micro-scratches of use, the crystal itself has not changed. The case back also bears the « Registered Model » inscription, attesting to the house's registered design, as well as serial number 003-1200L-5600.
Good overall condition, grade B — micro-scratches present on the case and bracelet, consistent with a worn piece and documented in the photos; clean mother-of-pearl dial. The watch is in working order and the time-setting function works. No major flaws to report. The bracelet measures 16.5 cm and will fit a 16 cm wrist.
