Hermès Scarf – Astrologie Model

Designed by Françoise Faconnet in 1963, the Astrologie silk scarf – whose title inscribed on the design is "Dies et Hore" – is one of the great classics of the Hermès heritage. Inspired by a Renaissance astrological chart preserved at the Paris Observatory, it elegantly blends astronomy, astrology, and the representation of time.

At the centre of the composition shines a majestic sun surrounded by concentric circles representing the hours, days, months, zodiac signs, and constellations. The twelve astrological signs, finely illustrated in gold relief, gravitate around this fascinating celestial mechanism, creating a composition of great graphic richness.

This version combines a deep black background with shades of white, ochre, brown, and gold, a sophisticated palette that perfectly highlights the details of this true celestial map.

This scarf is in good condition, featuring several small stains and marks visible in the photos.
