The Alma was born in 1934 under the name "Squaw" before being renamed in tribute to Avenue de l'Alma in Paris. Its dome-shaped silhouette, inspired by Art Deco, is one of the most recognisable in global leather goods — a shape that belongs to Louis Vuitton alone. The Alma BB is its compact version, created in the 2010s in response to demand for a smaller format that is easier to wear every day. In ballerina pink Épi leather — the house's signature dyed leather, with fine parallel lines evoking ears of wheat — it achieves rare softness and femininity. The entirely silver-tone hardware, unusual on the classically gold Alma, gives this version a particular modernity and lightness. Adjustable shoulder strap (106 cm), padlock with key and clochette are all included.
