The Looping is one of the most original pieces ever produced by Louis Vuitton. Its semi-circular rigid Vachetta leather handle — unique throughout the house’s catalogue — gives it an instantly recognisable look and a way of being carried on the arm that is truly its signature. The Monogram canvas naturally follows this soft half-moon shape. Made in France in 2003, this example has developed a lovely caramel patina on the handle — the result of twenty-five years of careful wear. The beige suede-lined interior, with its two organised pockets, is in excellent condition. The Looping model has been discontinued from the house’s current catalogue, making it an increasingly sought-after piece among vintage Louis Vuitton enthusiasts today.
