Christian Dior never designed its jewellery in-house: from the 1950s onwards, the house entrusted its costume jewellery to specialist workshops, whose manufacturing quality was far from fanciful despite its status as accompanying jewellery. Careful sculpting, thick plating, hand-setting: these pieces were made to last, which is why they can still be found in circulation today.

These earrings embrace a geometric look. The silhouette is bold and triangular, enlivened by a chevron motif that structures the surface and creates dimension. The white rhinestones, set along the design, add points of light — just enough to catch the eye, never enough to overwhelm. It is this balance that makes them so appealing: the jewellery has presence without becoming ostentatious.

The 2.2 × 2 cm size is particularly well judged: the earrings sit flat against the earlobe, without protruding or pulling. They have clip-on fittings — no pierced ears needed, and they are genuinely comfortable for a piece of this size. They elevate jeans and a white jumper just as well as they dress up an evening outfit. The Dior engraving appears on the back of each clip.

Good vintage condition, grade B — light signs of wear due to age, all rhinestones in place, clips perfectly functional, engraving legible. No major flaws to report; the item is documented in the photos. Sold with their box and the RARR Vintage certificate of authenticity.
