Black background, red looping “MOSCHINO” border, leopard-print stars and edelweiss, comic-book speech bubble with “Easy Chic” — this rectangular silk scarf is a distillation of everything that makes Moschino impossible to mistake for anyone else.

Franco Moschino spent the 1980s and 1990s doing exactly what Italian fashion was not doing — mixing irony and luxury, placing slogans where others placed monograms, creating prints that looked more like collages than house patterns. This vintage scarf is a direct illustration: multicoloured stars, some in leopard print, others in tartan, others like gold badges; edelweiss flowers that have no business being there; graphic speech bubbles proclaiming “Easy Chic”; and around the border, the house name repeated in red on black, transformed into a motif in its own right. It is dense, deliberate, and precisely what one looks for in vintage Moschino.

The silk — Made in Italy — gives the scarf its fluid drape and characteristic lightness, contrasting with the visual density of the pattern. The 104 × 26.5 cm rectangular format is ideal for quick styling: tied around the neck in a loose lavallière knot, slipped into the hair as a headband, tied to a bag handle for instant effect, or worn flat as a graphic accent on a simple jacket.
