This Yves Saint Laurent Octagon watch belongs to the line of timepieces created by the Parisian house in the 1990s. The octagonal case — eight crisp facets, sharp edges that play with the light — is a geometric statement that immediately distinguishes this watch from the usual round or rectangular silhouettes. The golden champagne dial bears the YSL logo and the inscription “Yves Saint Laurent” in fine lettering, with Roman numeral indices that reinforce the piece's classic character.

The bracelet is the most remarkable detail of this watch. Each link is cut into a Y shape — the initial letter of the Yves Saint Laurent monogram — alternating silver-toned steel and gold plating. It is a design feature that turns the bracelet into jewellery in its own right: even fastened on the wrist, the watch reads as much as a piece of jewellery as an instrument for measuring time.

The bracelet measures approximately 18.5 cm and fits a wrist of 18 cm or less. Links can be removed to adjust the size for a slimmer wrist. Two additional links are included with the sale. The watch is fitted with a quartz movement and works perfectly, with fully functional time setting.
