Care instructions

To protect, clean and revive the shine of your wooden furniture, we recommend simply using a duster and maintaining it regularly.

• Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and heat.
• Sudden temperature changes and very low humidity can cause warping and cracking.
• Never place a wet or hot container on unprotected furniture, as this could leave marks/stains that are difficult to remove.
• Use a dry cloth for daily cleaning.
• Placing near heat sources will affect the wood, and cracks may appear.
• Do not cover the wood with airtight materials.

Oil treatment: Always use an oil suitable for the furniture. Apply the oil in a thin layer with a soft sponge, along the direction of the grain, on both the top and bottom of the furniture. To protect the wood, it is recommended to treat your furniture with oil once a month for the first 6 months. Then 2 to 4 times a year.

Wood cleaning: Use a wood cleaner on stubborn areas. Always remember to apply an oil treatment after cleaning.

Information
The wooden support rod beneath the tabletop must be installed by the customer whenever the extension leaves are used, in order to ensure table stability under all circumstances.

On an oak veneer table, colour variations between the tabletop and the extension leaves are normal because wood has natural variations (each veneer sheet is unique), does not absorb stain or varnish completely uniformly, and the tabletop ages and darkens with light exposure, unlike the extension leaves which are often stored away.
