CAVAL x Asterix are unisex and asymmetric. They are entirely made in Europe using eco-friendly, traceable and certified materials.

By Toutatis! In a small village that still resists symmetry, trainers were born in tribute to the most famous Gaul and CAVAL’s offbeat spirit.

In the colours of Asterix’s outfit, the pair features black for his tunic, red for his trousers, the white wings of his helmet, yellow stitching for his famous moustache and a green eyelet as a nod to his iconic flask. 💛

A legion of asymmetric details can be found between the two feet: delicate silhouettes of the indomitable heroes of René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo, reversed materials and colours… Magic potion not included, but Gaulish style guaranteed.

SHOE TREES
You can insert shoe trees (preferably wooden ones) into your trainers in the evening to soften and properly relax your pair, which will help extend their lifespan and comfort!
WATERPROOFING SPRAY
Our trainers are already waterproofed. You can apply an additional layer of waterproofing spray to suede materials, especially when wearing them during rainy periods.
Warning:
1. Do not apply alcohol-based waterproofing spray to the markings: the alcohol is very likely to erase them.
2. Check the colour of your waterproofing spray by testing it on a small part of the pair: it must be colourless to avoid staining your pair.
CLEANING
Surface stains can easily be cleaned with a slightly damp sponge. The same applies to the soles, by rubbing firmly. The laces, meanwhile, can be machine-washed.
Warning:
CAVAL trainers must not be machine-washed: leather & biomaterials do not like it!
