Bottega Veneta was founded in 1966 in Vicenza, in the Veneto region, and was built around a unique craft: Intrecciato, a weaving technique in which strips of leather are hand-braided into one another, without visible stitching. It is the absolute opposite of an obvious logo — at Bottega, leather is the message. The house's historic motto summed up this philosophy: when your own initials are enough. This bag is the perfect illustration.
