Tips for Beginners If you've never used an epilator, it may take some time for your skin to adjust to hair removal. At first, wax once a week to reduce unpleasant sensations. For optimal comfort, use the massage roller accessory (1a). For the first uses, wax in the evening so that the redness disappears overnight. It is recommended to apply a moisturizer to soothe the skin after hair removal. Hair removal is easier and more comfortable when the hairs measure between 0.5 and 3 mm. If the hairs are longer, we recommend shortening them. Exfoliation prevents the appearance of ingrown hairs and provides optimal conditions for hair removal. How to epilate Before use, make sure that the epilation head (2) is clean. Depending on the model, attach one of the tips: Massage roller accessory (1a): for optimal comfort Skin contact accessory (1b): for increased effectiveness Use in dry conditions: Make sure your skin is dry and free of any oil or cream. Use in wet conditions: Make sure your skin is well wet to obtain optimal sliding conditions. Always hold your skin tight when hair removal. Guide the device with a slow and continuous movement, without exerting pressure, in the opposite direction of hair growth and in the direction of the light. Legs: Keep your leg straight when waxing the back of your knees. Sensitive areas: Start by thoroughly cleaning and drying sensitive areas to remove residue (like deodorant). When waxing your armpits, hold your arm raised so that your skin is well stretched and then guide the device in different directions. The skin may be more sensitive after hair removal. This is why it is best to avoid using irritating products, such as deodorants with alcohol. Cleaning the epilation head After use, turn off the device and clean the epilation head: Remove the accessory (1a/b). Brush the tweezers by rotating them manually. To remove the epilation head, press the eject button (7). Then gently shake your head to remove the hairs from the inside. If thorough cleaning is necessary, you can hold the device and epilation head under warm running water. Then shake it to drain it properly. Make sure it is dry before putting it back in place. General Hair Removal Information All root hair removal methods may cause skin irritation (e.g., itching, discomfort, and redness of the skin) depending on the condition of your skin and hair. This is a normal reaction that should go away quickly. This reaction may be more severe after the first hair removals or if you have sensitive skin. In general, skin reactions and the sensation of pain tend to decrease considerably after several uses. If your skin still shows signs of irritation after 36 hours, it is recommended to consult a doctor. To reduce the risk of infection or inflammation due to bacteria entering the skin during micro-injuries, clean the epilator head and your skin thoroughly before each use. If in doubt about the use of this device, consult a doctor. In the following cases, this device should only be used after consulting a doctor: eczema, wounds, inflammatory reactions of the skin such as folliculitis (purulent follicles) and varicose veins around moles, on skin with low immunity, e.g. ex. diabetes mellitus, pregnancy, Raynaud's disease, hemophilia or immune deficiency. The shaving head (9) is designed for quick and precise shaving of legs, armpits and bikini line. Shave on dry skin for optimal results. To trim hair 3 mm long, attach the trimmer comb (9b) and guide it flat on the skin, with the opening in the opposite direction of hair growth. Cleaning Do not wash the razor foil with the brush. This could damage it. Remove the shaver foil (9a) as shown on page 4. Tap it on a flat surface. Clean the shaver head with the brush or under running water. Reassemble when all elements are dry.
