The Alma is one of the oldest models in the Louis Vuitton catalogue. The original silhouette dates back to 1934, created to order for a famous client, and reinterpreted over the decades to become one of the house's pillars. The BB size — the smallest in the range — retains all its proportions: flat base, rounded sides forming a perfect dome, double-slider zip following the curve of the top. The bag stands upright on its own, keeps its shape even when half empty, and projects the structured look that made the model renowned.

The Damier Ébène canvas — the historic checkerboard pattern registered by Louis Vuitton in 1888 — is paired here with smooth chocolate leather for the handles, base and reinforcements. The bag is clean, with no flaws to report, and slight signs of previous use consistent with the grade.
