A Christian Dior Bijoux necklace from the 1980s-1990s — flat gold-plated chevron chain tapering to a bouquet of transparent crystals. Art Deco from the 1920s revisited by the house of Dior in all its rigor and luminosity. A collector's evening piece, original label present.

Christian Dior Bijoux is the house's costume jewelry line, developed to make the Dior universe accessible without renouncing the manufacturing requirements. In the 1980s and 1990s, the line produced pieces strongly inspired by major periods in the history of costume - Art Deco of the 1920s is a recurring source of inspiration, with its geometric lines, structured flat chains and compositions of crystals set with goldsmith precision. This necklace is the perfect expression: the flat chevron chain – characteristic of the 1920s aesthetic – tapers towards a central piece made of a bouquet of transparent crystals which captures and diffracts the light with each movement. Formal elegance, lightness of wear, discreet shine.

This copy is in good vintage condition. The gold plating is vivid and well preserved. The crystals are intact, with no gaps. Slight signs of wear are consistent with the age of the piece. The original Christian Dior Bijoux label is present on the clasp — a rare and precious detail for a piece from this era. Sold with pouch and Rarr Vintage certificate of authenticity.
