Description
Meet the cheerful umbrella tree; the Schefflera arboricola. The nickname umbrella tree comes from the oval-shaped leaves that grow together in clusters. They fan outwards slightly. With its combination of light yellow and green colours, this is a houseplant with a playful character. The umbrella tree is native to Australia, belonging to the Araliaceae family. It prunes very well, allowing you to achieve several different looks. For example, opt for an elegant rounded shape, or let it branch out into a wild indoor tree.
