Description & history

The vintage Gucci 107 G — Shell Pearl mother-of-pearl dial, chain bracelet decorated with boot and bamboo charms, 22 mm round case, Swiss Made. A jewelry watch which concentrates in a single object the two most iconic signatures of the Florentine house. Collector, rare, immediately recognizable.

Since the 1970s, Gucci has developed a watch line that transgresses the codes of the classic watch to make it a real wrist jewel - the chain bracelets adorned with emblematic charms are the most accomplished expression. The boot, symbol of original Florentine leather goods, and bamboo, introduced in 1947 as a replacement material in times of shortage and which became one of Gucci's most distinctive signs, are found here in miniature on the chain bracelet of the 107 G model. The Shell Pearl mother-of-pearl dial adds a precious and luminous dimension — its pearly reflections change depending on the angle of the light, transforming each glance at the time into a moment of elegance. A piece that belongs as much to the world of jewelry as to that of watchmaking.

This copy is in good general condition and works perfectly. Visible micro-scratches are light and consistent with the piece's age and use — without altering its aesthetic or worn impact. Sold with Rarr Vintage certificate of authenticity — without original box.
