Hermès Scarf – Kilim Design
Selection of luxury vintage jewellery - Unique & authentic
Description
This vintage Hermès "Kilim" scarf is inspired by traditional Anatolian rugs, blending geometric patterns, tribal symbols and vibrant colours. Designed by Dimitri Rybaltchenko in 2002, it was reissued in 2010 and 2012.
The design draws on the codes of antique kilims, with a structured, rhythmic central composition surrounded by decorative borders. The stylised, repetitive forms evoke an ancestral symbolic language of protection, fertility and transmission.
The warm, sunlit palette, dominated by intense oranges, deep reds, greens and touches of blue, gives this scarf a strong energy and highly graphic character.
A bold, luminous design, perfect for adding a touch of colour and originality to an outfit.
This scarf is in very good condition, with no particular flaws.
