Leopards in a jungle of exotic flowers, against a navy blue background — this Ferragamo square scarf in natural silk is a composition in its own right, dense and luminous, the kind rarely seen today.

The 1980s–1990s were the golden age of Ferragamo scarves. The Florentine house developed its own visual language: narrative scenes inspired by nature and exoticism, executed with illustrative precision and a generosity of colour that contrasts sharply with contemporary minimalism. This vintage model is a direct expression of it — leopards curled up amid dense, flowering vegetation, rendered in a vibrant palette of yellow, green, pink and red, against a deep navy blue background that gives the whole an almost painterly intensity.

Natural silk — 100% — does what it does best: it enhances colours, gives beautiful drape, and makes the square scarf as pleasant to touch as it is to look at. The 86 × 86 cm format is ideal for every way of wearing it — a loose knot around the neck, a stole over the shoulders, a headband in the hair, or a colourful accent on a bag. A surface large enough for the pattern to express itself fully, without ever being cumbersome.

In very good condition, with no stains, holes or pulled threads — the print has retained all its vibrancy. The original label is not present. Sold with a Rarr Vintage certificate of authenticity — a Ferragamo from its finest years, to wear or keep.
