INTRODUCTION TO MODELLING
A creative start to the new season, hands in clay!
For 2 hours, discover the basic techniques of modelling and make your very own ceramic piece, guided by our ceramist.
No experience needed: just come with your ideas, we will take care of the rest.
What the workshop includes:
• 2-hour introduction to modelling guided by our teachers
• A hand-shaped creation (pinch pot or slab)
Shape your first piece:
Small bowl, mug, little vase, trinket dish… you will learn how to build a form from a simple block of clay, discovering the essential gestures of modelling in a welcoming atmosphere.
And afterwards?
Your piece will be fired by our team (temperature: 1000°C+), ready to be collected in about 3 weeks.
Want to take it further?
Discover our 3-Class Pass, a programme to discover all the steps involved in making a ceramic piece.
Over the course of 3 sessions, you will learn how to shape your piece, finish it, and then decorate it, to understand and experience the complete process, from raw clay to the finished piece.
3 classes to create a piece from start to finish and discover all the expertise of ceramics.
Practical information:
• From age 10
• Groups of 1 to 6 people
• Materials provided – remember to bring an apron and come with short nails
