INTRODUCTION TO WHEEL THROWING
Fancy getting your hands dirty in clay?
Discover wheel throwing during a 2-hour workshop, guided by our ceramicist. You will learn the basic wheel throwing techniques and make your very first piece.
A creative break, ideal to kick off the new season differently and discover ceramics, even with no prior experience.
What the workshop includes:
• A 2-hour introductory session guided by our teachers
• Creating your very first wheel-thrown piece (small dish, bowl, small vase, etc.)
Get your hands in the clay:
You will learn how to centre the clay, shape a simple form, and get a feel for the essential wheel-throwing gestures. The perfect opportunity to discover a new passion in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
What happens next?
Your piece will be fired by our team (temperature: over 1,000°C), ready for collection in about 3 weeks.
Want to take it further?
Discover our 3-Class Pass, a course to explore all the stages of making a ceramic piece.
Over the course of 3 sessions, you will learn how to shape your piece, finish it, and then decorate it, to understand and experience the complete process from raw clay to the finished item.
3 classes to create a piece from start to finish and discover all the know-how of ceramic arts.

• Groups of 1 to 6 people
• Materials provided – please remember to bring an apron and keep your nails short
