Care instructions

To preserve, clean and restore the shine of your wooden furniture, we recommend simply using a duster and maintaining it regularly.

• Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and heat.
• Sudden changes in temperature and excessively low humidity can cause warping and cracking.
• Never place a damp or hot container on unprotected furniture, as this could leave marks/stains that are difficult to remove.
• Use a dry cloth for daily cleaning.
• Placing it near heat sources will affect the wood and cracks may appear.
• Do not cover the wood with airtight materials.

Oil treatment: Always use an oil suitable for the furniture. Apply the oil with a soft sponge in a thin layer, following the grain, both on the top and bottom of the furniture. To protect the wood, it is recommended to treat your furniture with oil once a month for the first 6 months. Then 2 to 4 times a year.

Cleaning the wood: use a wood cleaner on stubborn areas. Remember to always apply an oil treatment after such cleaning.

Information

On an oak veneer table, colour differences between the tabletop and the extensions are normal because wood naturally varies (each veneer is different), wood does not absorb stain or varnish perfectly evenly, and the tabletop ages and darkens with light, unlike the extensions, which are often stored away.
