The Macadam pattern is Céline's historic monogram. Created in the 1970s, its design was inspired by the chains surrounding the Arc de Triomphe, just steps away from the Maison's Parisian headquarters — the very same motif known today as the Triomphe. Here, it is printed in brown on a textured coated canvas, featuring a tone-on-tone palette that remains discreet from afar and truly reveals itself up close.

The pouch is trimmed all around in light brown leather, with visible topstitching that follows the line of the zip and the gussets. A small leather tab on the front bears the Céline Paris stamp, debossed in a cartouche. The zip pull is also made of leather, lined in the same shade. It is a simple yet beautifully crafted piece, characteristic of the Italian leather goods produced for the House during this era.

Its flat 23.5 × 17 cm size makes it a practical, everyday piece. It slips easily into a bag or suitcase without taking up space, neatly organising everything that usually ends up at the bottom: phone, passport, keys, lipstick, tissues, hand sanitiser. It is also a perfectly unisex pouch, just as easily carried by hand as an evening clutch or used as a travel kit.

Good overall condition, grade B+ — the coated canvas is clean, the leather trim is in good condition, the zip works smoothly and the gold-tone hardware shows no notable flaws. The interior is clean. Only light signs of previous use are present, consistent with the age of the piece. The pouch will be delivered in careful RARR Vintage packaging, complete with its RARR Vintage dust bag.
