Chanel clip-on earrings from 2001 — CC logo paved with pearly pearls on gold plated. The most Chanel combination there is: gold, pearl, double C. A dated, traceable, timeless piece. The kind of jewelry that is passed down.

The pearl has been at the heart of the Chanel universe since Gabrielle Chanel herself, who wore it as a necklace and as a layer long before high jewelry democratized it. Karl Lagerfeld, artistic director of the house since 1983, regularly reinterprets this heritage in costume jewelry - costume pearls set with the CC logo, combining the warmth of gold plating and pearly shine in everyday wearable formats. In 2001, Chanel navigated between the classic heritage of the house and an assertive modernity — these clips are the perfect synthesis: iconic in their design, portable in their format, feminine in their materials.

This 2001 example is in fair vintage condition. The front side — CC logo and pearly pearls — is well preserved. The back shows visible signs of wear, consistent with the age of the piece.
