Tips for caring for the refractory stone

Over time, the patina will darken its colour: this is a normal and beneficial process. Never use cleaning products: as it is a porous material, the stone would absorb the product and your dishes could smell of soap. Do not use oil to maintain the stone; let it develop a patina over time. To clean it, first use a wooden spatula, then wipe with a damp cloth.
