The Damarus 10cr14 MOV steel knife slices with extreme ease. Its Damascus steel blade consists of 67 layers folded over a 10CR14MOV steel core with 1.1% carbon. This technique, combined with these materials, gives the knife remarkable strength as well as slight flexibility, ensuring optimal ergonomics. This Damascus process is achieved by alternating layers of hard and soft steel. The 10cr14mov steel, with a hardness of 58 to 59 HRC, provides superior cutting efficiency and long-lasting edge retention. The Pakkawood layered handle is heat-compressed with resin, making it exceptionally durable and hygienic.
