Ficus Benjamina Natasja – Houseplant

You may know the Ficus benjamina as the weeping fig. However, this houseplant is anything but sad. The Ficus benjamina originates from the tropical regions of Southeast Asia and Australia. Its name, weeping fig, comes from its young branches and drooping leaves. It is hard to blame it, given the tropical temperatures! This ficus does not grow vigorously in the living room. It is a hardy, slow-growing houseplant. You will therefore be able to enjoy it for a long time. After decades, the Ficus benjamina will even take on the appearance of a shrub. The Ficus benjamina 'Natasja' is a cultivated variety with dense leaves that mainly spreads in width. The leaves curl upwards on either side from the central vein, giving them a lovely V shape.

The plant is delivered in a nursery pot. Upon receipt, it should be repotted into a pot approximately 20% larger than the initial nursery pot.
