Strelitzia Nicolai – Indoor Plant

Strelitzia Nicolai with a seagrass basket. Better known as the Bird of Paradise, this plant has large green leaves and purifies the air! It produces oxygen and breaks down harmful substances. This Nicolai variety owes its name to its iconic bird-of-paradise-shaped flowers. Unfortunately for us, these black and white flowers only grow in the jungle. But rest assured, this fantastic plant has sturdy, long, paddle-shaped leaves. Indoors, it can reach a height of 2 metres. Create a real jungle atmosphere in your home!

- Height on delivery: 80–90 cm (measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant).

Care
- Watering: Water ¼ of the surface twice a week (summer and winter). The soil should always remain slightly moist (note: this applies to a standard 1-litre watering can).
- Location: Sun (place 2 metres from a south-, west- or east-facing window). It needs at least 5 hours of sunlight per day!
- Maintenance: The oldest leaves turn brown over time; this is a natural process. You can remove the brown tips or cut the stem 2 cm above the heart.

If the plant is defective (damaged in transit, wrong model received), you have 7 days to contact our customer service. Beyond this period, no refund will be issued. These are living plants subject to transit. A small amount of soil may come loose from the pot during transport. This does not constitute grounds for a refund.

Please note that these products cannot be delivered to islands. Any order with a delivery address on an island (e.g. Corsica, Île de Ré, etc.) will be cancelled.

The plant is delivered in a nursery pot. Upon receipt, it should be repotted into a pot approximately 20% larger than the initial nursery pot.
