Bamboo is not very hardy, but Fargesia Formidable is a compact, winter-hardy bamboo, ideal for your balcony. Fargesia Formidable is a compact bamboo that grows in clumps rather than spreading. This plant is not invasive and is also winter-hardy, what more could you want? To add another advantage to this Fargesia Formidable: it is also low-maintenance. The plant will not spread, but will remain compact, so it will not take over your garden.

Specifications
- Supplied in sets of 2.
- The delivery height of this plant is 40 to 50 cm (measured from the bottom of the grower’s pot to the top of the plant).
- Supplied in a grower’s pot ⌀17 cm.
- Winter hardy: no problem.
- Number of plants per m²/per linear metre: 3 plants.

Care
- Water: with normal weather, 1 to 2 watering sessions per week; with prolonged dry weather, at least 2 to 3 watering sessions per week (more in extreme heat). We assume the use of a garden hose or sprinkler.
- Position: partial shade to sun (maximum 4–6 hours of sunlight per day).
- Mature height: the plant can grow up to 1 metre above ground; the best planting period is July to August.

If the plant is defective (damaged in transit, wrong model received), you have 7 days to contact our customer service. Beyond this period, no refund will be issued. These are living plants subject to transit. A small amount of soil may come loose from the pot during transport. This does not constitute grounds for a refund.

Please note that these products cannot be delivered to islands. Any order with a delivery address on an island (e.g. Corsica, Île de Ré, etc.) will be cancelled.

The plant is delivered in a nursery pot. Upon receipt, it should be repotted into a pot approximately 20% larger than the initial nursery pot.
