Strelitzia Nicolai – Indoor Plant

The Strelitzia nicolai, better known as the Bird of Paradise, has large green leaves and purifies the air! It produces oxygen and breaks down harmful substances. This Strelitzia nicolai owes its name to its iconic bird-of-paradise-shaped flowers. Unfortunately for us, these black and white flowers only grow in the jungle. But don't worry, this fantastic plant has sturdy, long paddle-shaped leaves. Indoors, it can reach a height of 2 metres. Enough to create a real jungle atmosphere in your home!

- The height of the plant upon delivery is 80 to 90 cm (measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant).

Care
- Watering: Water with ¼ of the indicated amount twice a week (summer and winter), ensuring that the soil always remains slightly moist (note: this applies to a standard watering can with a capacity of 1 litre).
- Exposure: Sunlight (place 2 metres from a south-, west- or east-facing window). It needs at least 5 hours of sunlight per day!
- Maintenance: The oldest leaves will turn brown over time, which is a natural process. You can remove the brown tips or cut the leaf stem 2 cm above the centre.

If the plant is defective (damaged in transit, wrong model received), you have 7 days to contact our customer service. Beyond this period, no refund will be issued. These are living plants subject to transit. A small amount of soil may come loose from the pot during transport. This does not constitute grounds for a refund.

Please note that these products cannot be delivered to islands. Any order with a delivery address on an island (e.g. Corsica, Île de Ré, etc.) will be cancelled.

The plant is delivered in a nursery pot. Upon receipt, it should be repotted into a pot approximately 20% larger than the initial nursery pot.
