Canary Island Date Palm – Outdoor Plant

Phoenix canariensis, better known as the Canary Island date palm, is a hardy palm native to the Canary Islands. Accustomed to warm temperatures, it can be placed on a sunny terrace in summer and brought indoors in winter. This way, you can enjoy this plant all year round!

- Height on delivery: 65 to 85 cm (measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant)

Care
- Watering: Under normal conditions, water 1 to 2 times a week. In very hot weather, water at least 2 to 3 times a week (note: in extreme drought, water daily). A garden hose or automatic sprinkler is recommended.
- Location: Sun (maximum 5 to 6 hours of sunlight per day).
- Care: Old, discoloured leaves will fall off to make way for new ones. You can remove them by cutting the branch as close to the trunk as possible. Warning! In the event of frost, this palm must be wrapped to protect it from the cold and possible frost damage.

Note: If you plan to place the palm indoors, make sure to water it with ¼ of its volume twice a week (summer and winter) and keep the soil slightly moist.

If the plant is defective (damaged in transit, wrong model received), you have 7 days to contact our customer service. Beyond this period, no refund will be issued. These are living plants subject to transit. A small amount of soil may come loose from the pot during transport. This does not constitute grounds for a refund.

Please note that these products cannot be delivered to islands. Any order with a delivery address on an island (e.g. Corsica, Île de Ré, etc.) will be cancelled.

The plant is delivered in a nursery pot. Upon receipt, it should be repotted into a pot approximately 20% larger than the initial nursery pot.
