The vintage Gucci 2400L — 22 mm rectangular steel case, sleek black dial, leather strap, Swiss Made quartz movement. An architectural and minimalist silhouette that embodies the Gucci before the omnipresent monogram. Sober, precise, collector's item.

Founded in Florence in 1921, Gucci entered the world of watchmaking by relying on Swiss manufactures to produce watches with a resolutely Italian aesthetic. The 2400L model perfectly illustrates this approach: slender rectangular steel case, deep black dial stripped of all superfluous ornament, leather strap with pin clasp - a watch which asserts its character through the rigor of its lines rather than through its logo. It is the Gucci of assumed discretion, the one that connoisseurs seek out on the vintage market precisely because it is unlike anything else. The Swiss Made quartz movement ensures uncompromising daily precision and reliability.

This copy is in good general condition and works perfectly. The dial has slight micro-scratches visible in raking light — consistent with the use and age of the piece. The leather strap has developed a natural patina with signs of previous use. The whole is well preserved and wears elegantly. Sold with Rarr Vintage certificate of authenticity — without original box.
