« Kosmima » means « jewel » in Greek — and this scarf truly lives up to its name. Designed by Julia Abadie and first issued in 1994, it displays an array of ancient Greek jewellery across a deep black ground: coin necklaces, earrings, armbands, and brooches, all arranged around a female head crowned with a golden leaf diadem. The gold shines brightly against the black, accented with delicate multicoloured touches.

Every Hermès scarf is born in Lyon silk: the twill is screen-printed frame by frame, then hand-rolled. Here, the hand-rolled edges are well-preserved and the original care label remains attached. An elegant black background like this can be worn around the neck, as a headscarf, as a belt, or tied to a bag handle.

The scarf is in overall good condition, with light signs of previous use, and no holes, stains, or major flaws. It is sold with its original Hermès box and its Rarr Vintage certificate of authenticity, in careful packaging.
