What is Jesmonite?

The jesmonite is a component used in the creation of decorative objects. This component consists of two main ingredients: a aqueous acrylic liquid and one mineral base composed of gypsum (also called plaster stone). To get the preparation that will allow you to create your objects, you will need to mix together the liquid and the mineral base according to the doses indicated. Once mixed well, the mixture should resemble a thick, easy-flowing paste.

The jesmonite will allow you to produce solid products thanks to molding. Ideal for creating outdoor decorative objects (columns, statues, flower pots, etc.), this component is also suitable for making smaller objects. With the help of silicone molds or polystyrene, you will be able to design soap dishes, storage boxes, coasters or even paperweights.
