The Pochette Twin belongs to that family of small, flat styles created by Louis Vuitton around the year 2000, when elongated silhouettes worn close to the body dominated. It is crafted like an envelope: a flat body in Monogram coated canvas, a flap covering two-thirds of the front, and natural cowhide leather piping accentuating every edge. Left untreated, this leather has developed an attractive, even honey patina.

Its strength lies in its versatility. The leather strap clips on for shoulder or crossbody wear, and can be removed in a single move to transform the piece into an evening clutch. The closure features a crisp, quiet magnetic snap button. The GM size easily holds a phone, a slim card holder and a lipstick — just the essentials, nothing more.

Good condition, Grade B — the coated canvas is clean, the leather piping is in good condition with a lovely patina, and the shoulder strap is in good condition.
