Ikat captures the captivating spirit of this ancestral textile art, a symbol of patience, tradition and know-how passed down from generation to generation. The Malay term "ikat" means "to tie" or "to bind", referring to the traditional dyeing technique in which sections of thread are carefully tied with wax to create intricate designs. The threads are then hand-dyed with natural pigments before being woven.

Now available in four shades, each cushion is distinguished by soft, faded patterns as well as geometric shapes that unfold elegantly. Their earthy tones evoke the warmth of the sun gently caressing the vast steppes of Central Asia.
