Use unfinished wood shoe trees after each wear to absorb moisture and preserve shape.
Clean with a cleansing milk to remove dust, salt and water marks.
Polishing before the first wear is essential to protect against rain; also apply a moisturising cream to nourish the leather and extend its lifespan.
Allow to dry for a few minutes, then buff with a suitable horsehair brush.
Repeat every 4 to 5 wears, more frequently during rainy periods.
Rotate your shoes to make them last longer.

Sole care:
Leather soles: fit a rubber topy sole for intensive use or treat regularly with leather balm for added suppleness and water resistance.
Rubber soles: no specific care needed, they are already hard-wearing and waterproof.
