Use unfinished wood shoe trees after each wear to absorb moisture and maintain the shape.
Clean with a lotion to remove dust, salt and water marks.
Polishing before the first wear is essential to protect from rain; also apply a moisturising cream to nourish the leather and extend its lifespan.
Leave to dry for a few minutes, then buff with a suitable horsehair brush.
Repeat every 4 to 5 wears, more often in rainy weather.
Alternate your shoes to make them last longer.

Sole care:
Leather soles: fit a rubber sole protector in case of heavy use, or apply leather balm regularly for greater suppleness and water resistance.
Rubber soles: no specific care required, they are already durable and waterproof.
