In any case, it will fulfil its role as a host for a guest!The Roots convertible armchair consists of a sturdy pine slatted wooden frame and a soft, comfortable tufted cotton canvas mattress. It provides an occasional single bed measuring 90 x 200 cm. Thanks to its design, it has multiple positions: the slatted frame is fitted with a leg which, when fully folded, keeps it in armchair position in the living room, with generous dimensions and a comfortable backrest. Half unfolded, it becomes a chaise longue with the back raised for relaxing or reading, and finally it extends fully into bed position for an occasional night’s sleep.All mattress covers are made of 80% cotton and 20% polyester, except for the linen version, whose mattress is made of 25% linen and 75% cotton.The wood is FSC-certified, meaning that it comes from managed European forests.
