Aeschynanthus Marmoratus – Houseplant

Aeschynanthus marmoratus, also known as the lipstick plant or marbled lipstick plant, is a unique tropical trailing plant with decorative foliage. Its elongated, dark green leaves are adorned with a marbled pattern in lighter shades and feature a rich red-purple colour on their undersides. When in bloom, beautiful tubular flowers in warm orange-red tones appear. A unique plant that brings both greenery and colour to your interior. Features Sold individually. The height of these plants upon delivery is approximately 50 cm (measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant). Delivered in a 17 cm diameter nursery pot. Air-purifying. Good to know: this plant is non-toxic. Care Watering: Water regularly in small amounts and keep the soil slightly moist. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out slightly before watering again. In winter, you can reduce watering slightly. Position: A bright spot with plenty of indirect light is ideal. A lack of light can cause the leaf patterns to fade and restrict flowering. Maintenance: Remove dead or dry leaves and fertilise the plant every 2 to 3 weeks during spring and summer. To encourage blooming, place it in a warm, bright spot.
