Tartine is a spreadable cream. Note: not a paste, a cream. Not the sort that sticks to your knife and takes half the bread with it. No, this is a truly smooth cream made with hazelnuts from Piedmont and Alba, almonds, cane sugar and pure cocoa. Nothing else? No, really, nothing else. And to make it quite clear that it’s good enough to eat straight from the jar, Soledad has created two versions of the label: one says it’s incredibly good, the other says it’s exceptionally good.
