The Paraty was designed by Hannah MacGibbon in 2010 and instantly established itself as one of Chloé's signature bags alongside the Paddington and the Marcie. Its visual language rests on three elements: a soft silhouette that naturally relaxes with wear, two short handles extended by chunky gold links — the model's instantly recognisable visual hallmark — and a flat base that lends structure and volume when set down. Nothing is overdone: the leather speaks for itself, the links punctuate the silhouette without overwhelming it, and the piece is identifiable from a distance without any visible logo.

This piece in caramel grained leather features a subtle sheen finish that catches the light — a rich autumnal shade, one of the most coveted from the range, which pairs effortlessly with warm seasonal tones as well as denim and neutral staples. The small model size at 30 × 20 × 13 cm strikes the perfect balance: spacious enough to hold your daily essentials — phone, compact purse, passport, glasses case, AirPods, keys, lipstick — without ever feeling bulky. It can be carried by hand for lunch, on the shoulder for the day, or as a hands-free crossbody thanks to the removable, adjustable shoulder strap — three styles in one, which explains the lasting appeal of this design on the pre-owned market.

The piece is in overall good condition. The grained leather is clean, with light rubbing on the handles and corners (see photos), consistent with the life of a bag that has been worn and well cared for. The gold-tone brass hardware features a patina consistent with age, with no damage. No major flaws to report. The interior, lined in cotton twill, is in good condition with a small mark visible in the photo; the zipped pocket works smoothly. Comes with its shoulder strap, RARR Vintage dust bag, RARR Vintage certificate of authenticity, and careful packaging.
