The house's entire vocabulary is contained in three symbols, designed by Georges Vuitton in 1896: the interlocking LV initials, the four-petalled flower and the four-pointed star. Since then, Louis Vuitton has never ceased to extract them from the canvas to turn them into objects in their own right — buckles, buttons, clasps, and this family of charms that isolates them and gives them dimension. It is the logo stripped of all context: no more luggage, no more canvas, just emblems suspended from a small chain.

This model brings together all three. The large LV initials, rendered in relief and filled with black enamel, hang on one side; opposite them, a four-lobed flower in dark brown enamel and a four-pointed star in blush beige enamel, each suspended from its own chain. Everything rises towards a gold-tone metal lobster clasp, whose plate bears the Louis Vuitton signature engraved in relief. The palette is warm and muted — black, brown, beige — more discreet and dressed-up than the house's usual all-gold charms.

It is a triple-purpose accessory. Clipped onto a bag handle, it completely changes its mood; slipped through a belt loop, it is worn as waist jewellery; used on its own, it serves as a key holder. The spring lobster clasp lets you move it from one item to another in a second, and the charms, freely mounted on their chains, move with every step.

Good overall condition, grade B — micro-scratches from use on the hardware, consistent with a worn piece, enamel in good condition, perfectly functional lobster clasp and legible engraving. No major flaws to report; the item is documented in photos. Sold in careful packaging, with the RARR Vintage certificate of authenticity.
