Discover our Chef Tanaka collection of Japanese-style knives.
This collection, ranging from the chef’s knife to the paring knife, is made from premium steel and will help you quickly improve your cooking skills while bringing a touch of elegance and originality to your kitchen. With their exceptional sharpness, these knives let you cut any food cleanly and precisely with much less effort, so you can prepare your recipes more quickly.

Specifications of each knife
Chef’s knife - 200 g: Designed for cutting meat and fish, chopping herbs, peeling vegetables and cutting fruit
Santoku knife - 191 g: Designed for slicing cuts of meat, mincing various herbs and spices, fruit, and vegetables
Boning knife - 150 g: Designed for scraping meat from the bone and cutting small bones
Utility knife - 100 g: Designed for very precise cutting

- Handle material: Pakkawood or epoxy resin
- Steel hardness: 54±2 HRC
Laser engraving is a sublimation technique that we use exclusively on Tanaka knives.

5 knives — 5Cr15MoV stainless steel blades, hardness 54±2 HRC, laser-finished Damascus effect – red epoxy resin handles
Care instructions:
Wash by hand in soapy water and dry immediately with a soft cloth. Never put in the dishwasher. Sharpen as soon as the edge becomes dull, using a honing steel or sharpener. Cut on a wooden board and do not use the blade edge to push food aside. Wooden handles: dry thoroughly before storing.
